#COVID19Update 4 Deaths, 41 New Cases on Tuesday

Four (4) COVID-19 related deaths were recorded in Jamaica on Tuesday bringing current fatalities to 302. They are a 72 year old male from St James, a 56 year old male from St James, an 83 year old male from Westmoreland and an 82 year old female from St James. All deaths were previously under investigation. Meanwhile, 41 additional COVID-19 cases were recorded. This has pushed the tally to 12,793 total cases with 2018 still being active. Of the new cases, with ages ranging from 9 to 90 years, nineteen (19) were men and twenty two (22) were women. 112 recoveries were recorded yesterday. Meanwhile, 89 persons are in hospital with 6 being moderately ill and 8, critically ill. 65 people are in government quarantine while 28,478 are at home in quarantine.
