PICJ Launched For Cardio Vascular Week

The evening's MC Terri-Karelle Reid, takes a moment to share a heart with Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton. - Contributed To kick-start Cardiovascular Week, which officially began on Monday, the team at Partners Interventional Centre of Jamaica (PICJ) transformed the courtyard of the Medical Associates Hospital into an oasis washed in red for the grand opening of Jamaica’s first full service cardiac care facility based in a private hospital. Minister of Health Dr Christopher Tufton, was on hand to give his remarks and official cut the ribbon with former Governor General Sir Kenneth Hall and Lady Hall. Guests were invited to wear red in support of the 1 in 3 women that are affected by cardiovascular diseases around the world each year.
