Koffee Sets Release Date For Debut EP 'Rapture'

The reggae entertainer’s project project will be available on March 14 after it was postponed earlier this year. “My EP, Rapture will be released on March 14 featuring two brand new tracks, Blazin’ and Rapture,” Koffee wrote under the cover art. The highly anticipated EP was initially scheduled for release on February 8, however was delayed, the “Throne” hitmaker’s team said the date was pushed back because they are fully committed to ensuring they deliver the best final product to Koffee’s fans. The 18-year-old Jamaican native, Mikayla “Koffee” Simpson is currently enjoying the success of her breakout single “Toast” which is currently dominating the local and international airwaves and charts. Born in Spanish Town, just outside of Kingston, Jamaica, Koffee began writing lyrics in her bedroom having been inspired by the likes of reggae legends Protoje and Supercat, to more recently, Chicago rapper Smino and UK rap star Giggs. The 5’0, self-described “sing-jay-guitarist” is one of the most exciting teenage talents to emerge this year, Koffee is poised and ready to take over in 2019.
